Michael Phelan (hurler) : ウィキペディア英語版 | Michael Phelan (hurler)
Michael 'Titch' Phelan (born 1967), from Glenmore, County Kilkenny, Ireland, is a former inter-county hurler. Phelan was formally recognised as a sportsperson of national significance in 1992 when nominated as a GAA Allstar. He played both for his local club Glenmore and as a member of the Kilkenny senior inter-county team for over a decade in the 1980s and 1990s. Phelan, playing mid-field, although he "mastered () opponents in the first half", narrowly missed out on an All-Ireland senior medal in 1991 when Tipperary beat Kilkenny by four points. Phelan began his inter-county coaching career as manager of the Wicklow senior hurling team for the 2009 season. He has since moved to Danesfort CLG which plays at intermediate grade in Kilkenny. ==References==
